Being so close to Joe and Stephanie has been just
great...just after we moved in to our house, they moved from Los Osos (about
30-40 minutes away) into one in Atascadero in the valley (about 10 minutes
away)! Joe is still with the San Luis Obispo Tribune as the
Presentation Editor (check out a web page with samples of his work by
clicking
HERE and read his blog, "Joetopia", by clicking
HERE) and Stephanie is now a veterinarian in Atascadero. It's really
nice to have her closer as she makes house calls! And, did I mention we
adore her? We baby-sit at least once a week and are taking great joy in
seeing two of our grandchildren on such a regular basis. AND we've been having
dinner with Joe and Steph at one of our homes at least twice a month. Now, if we could
only get Dave and Shirley and Alex, Samantha, and Jacob down here...
